Although this book covers the period of the battle of France as well as the Battle Of Britain it is not a rewrite of either of these conflicts. It is a resume of a number of pilots who happened to take part in these events. Sadly, history has passed most of these men by and they have become forgotten: if anything they are the 'Forgotten Few'. This is the first time that their stories have come together in one book. Squadron Leader john Sample was one of these men.
