THE LION HAS WINGS London Fims 1939.
THE LION HAS WINGS.

This is a documentry drama made in 1939, only two months after the outbreak of WW2. As such it is classed as a propaganda film and attempts to show how Britain stood alone. Mainly it is based around the RAF of the time. The film is now hard to get and at present is not available on DVD. Both picture and sound quality are good, bearing in mind that it was made in 1939. Cost of this DVD is £7-50 and includes P&P.

THE WOMAN IN BLACK Granada ITV 1989.
THE WOMAN IN BLACK.

This is the classic British ghost story originally shown on the British ITV network in 1989. The story is set in the early 20th century: a young solicitor is sent to clear up the belongings of a recently deceased woman. He is
increasingly haunted by a mysterious woman in black who also haunts the area. The story ends with a sinister twist. Although available in the USA, this DVD has not been released in Britain and is therefore, difficult to obtain. Both the picture and sound quality are good. The DVD is £7-50 including P&P.
